Create Business Partner Roles in the
Portal
You can use the Accounts application in the Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) portal to define business partner roles. To do so, you must incorporate an additional tab page in the application. The standard name for this tab page is Roles.
You are using version 5.0 of the SAP CRM Portal and the application CRMM_ACCOUNT - Accounts.
Start the Customizing tool in the SAP Reference IMG by choosing: Customer Relationship Management à layout of User Interface (People-Centric UI) à Application/Layout à Customizing Tool.
1. Load the application CRMM_ACCOUNT – Accounts.

If you are
using Version 0 of the portal floor plan, open the following nodes in the
CRMM_ACCOUNT application:
CRMM_ACCOUNT
® Version 0 ® Static Model ® Detail Area 1 ® Tab Page Groups ® ACC_01.
§ Choose the change mode and insert a line in the table of tab pages.
§ Enter a number of the display item requested on the Roles tab page in the Sequence field for the new line. Enter the value BUP_ALL_ROLES in the Event field for this line.
§ Save your changes.
3. If you are using Version 1 of the portal floor plan, open the following nodes in the CRMM_ACCOUNT application:
CRMM_ACCOUNT ® Version 1 ® Static Model ® Detail Area 1 ® Tab Page Groups ® ACC_03.
§ Choose the change mode and insert a line in the table of tab pages.
§ Enter a number of the display item requested on the Roles tab page in the Sequence field for the new line. Enter the value BUP_ALL_ROLES in the Event field for this line.
§ Save your changes.
When you next start the Accounts application in the CRM Portal, the tab page with the Roles name is visible in Detail Area 1. You can create and edit business partner roles on this tab page.
