The Analysis of External Lists uses the two key figures Positive Reaction by Business Partner and Customer Gained. These two key figures are calculated in SAP CRM, but are not stored here. They are written into the delta queue in SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (BI).
This key figure is calculated as a result of a campaign as follows:
The business partner of the address list who is contacted by an outbound contact created through a marketing campaign responds
The response is tracked through an inbound activity
The inbound activity is linked to the campaign that created the outbound contacts
The inbound activity used to track the positive reaction uses Actions. SAP delivers the action profile ACTIVITY to which ACTIVITY_CAMPAIGN_AUTOMATIONbelongs. This action is executed when an activity with direction Inbound and campaign reference is Saved. This action sets the key figure Positive Reaction by Business Partner
In addition, the key figure is also set for a business partner if the key figure Customer Gained is set. It can only be used if address data has already been copied to the CRM or BI system and this has been used in the campaigns This key figure is calculated:
When Sales Order is created for the business partner of an address list, and
When you implement the customizing activity
. It controls the calculation of this key figure by the type of sales order used.
