Workflow for Approving Marketing Campaigns 
Workflow WS10001004 (Approving Marketing Campaigns) controls the approval of marketing campaigns.
Prerequisites
Define the persons responsible in transaction PFAC (Rule Maintenance) using rule 10000230 (Approver for Campaigns). This rule determines the person to request approval from by using the attributes: campaign type, campaign key, authorization group and person responsible.
You perform the following two activities in Customizing for Customer
Relationship Management by choosing

Perform Task-Specific Customizing

Assign processors to the workflow tasks.
Activate the event linkage for the event Released for workflow WS10001004, as it is deactivated by default.
Features
If a marketing campaign is saved with status Released, whoever is defined as the person responsible is requested to approve the campaign. If the campaign is not approved, then it is locked and must be reviewed before it can be released again.
