This document explains which settings you need to make for transaction data for Marketing.

Settings in SAP ECC

Make the following settings in Customizing for SAP ECC:

  • Replicate the application component hierarchy under   Integration with other mySAP.com Components   Data Transfer to the SAP Business Information Warehouse   Business Content DataSources   Transfer Application Component Hierarchy  .

  • Create a DataSource for CO-PA under   Integration with other mySAP.com Components   Data Transfer to the SAP Business Information Warehouse   Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (PI)   Profitability Analysis   Create Transaction Data DataSource  .

  • See the other steps described under   Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (PI)   Profitability Analysis   Procedure for Setting Up Replication Model  .

Settings in SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence

Make sure that the required source system has been set up for the data extraction from SAP ECC.

You do this in the SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) Data Warehousing Workbench by choosing   Source Systems  , then right-clicking on the Source Systems column header and choosing Create.

To replicate the metadata of a DataSource in SAP NetWeaver BI, go to the SAP NetWeaver BI Data Warehousing Workbench and choose   DataSources  , right-click the appropriate DataSource, and choose Replicate DataSources.

Recommendation Recommendation

If you use the Business Content delivered for Trade Promotion Management, assign the DataSource to the InfoSource CO-PA: Consumer Products Industry (S_CP) (0CP_CO_PA) so that the InfoCube Sales and Trade Promotions (Actual) (0CP_SLSC7) is updated. For more information on the InfoCube, see the SAP library under   SAP NetWeaver   BI Content   Industry Solutions   Consumer Products   Sales and Marketing   Sales and Trade Promotions   InfoCubes   Sales and Trade Promotions (Actual)  .

End of the recommendation.

Make sure that the field CRMELEM in the CO-PA DataSource you created is mapped to CRM Marketing Element (R/3 PSP Element) (0CRM_MKTELE) in the transfer rules.

Create an InfoPackage and schedule the InfoPackage.
