In campaign automation, the workflow templates that belong to the campaign automation task set can be assigned to individual campaign elements.

The Transfer Respondent to Channel workflow transfers the specified business partner and contact partner to the communication medium defined for the campaign element.

Prerequisites

Classify the workflow template as a General Task.   Customer Relationship Management   Marketing   Marketing Planning and Campaign Management   Campaign Automation   Implement Workflow Customizing  .

After starting the campaign, the workflows are scheduled and executed automatically. For this reason, no type linkages need to be made for this workflow template.

Process

The Transfer Respondent to Channel workflow transfers the specified business partner and contact partner to the communication medium defined for the campaign element.

The following campaign element data is checked as part of campaign process modeling: A communication medium must exist and the indicator 'Start for Every Respondent' must be deactivated.
