This function allows you to assign reports to tiles and tile sets of mobile applications.

When you assign a report to a tile, users can generate the report only from the specific tile in mobile application.

When you assign a report to a tile set, users can generate the report from any tile in the tile set. In addition, the report is also available from the Print option on the toolbar of the mobile application.

You can assign one or more reports to a tile.

Features

  • UI assignment

    You can select the tile and tile set name in any of the mobile applications.

  • Report output options

    You can specify the expected output for a report (Output Type).

    The following options are available:

    • User Choice: Provides print and preview options at runtime

    • Preview: Allows users to preview the report

    • Print: Allows users to print the report

      At runtime, users can generate reports from a tile using the Print option on the toolbar.

      Example Example

      If you have assigned a report named Opportunity List to a tile that is part of the Opportunities component, then users navigate to the Opportunity tile and choose the print option on the toolbar to generate the Opportunity List report.

  • Default setting

    You can indicate whether the report is the default report for the tile.

  • Source of report data

    You can indicate whether the report must use data from the specified tile or tile set.
