A hierarchical grouping of reports.

 

You use report categories to organize reports logically for efficient access. You can build a report category with either a flat structure or a two-level hierarchy.

Structure

SAP provides the following report categories and subcategories:

The report categories that your users need would depend on your business requirements.

  • Printout reports

  • Standard reports

  • Microsoft Excel reports

    Reports created using data from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

  • SAP Business Information Warehouse reports

    Reports downloaded from the SAP NetWeaver BI.

The standard and printout reports may have subcategories such as:

  • Analysis

  • Dossiers

  • Lists

  • Workbooks

    You can add and change categories and subcategories using the Choice Fields function in Mobile System Maintenance.
