Pricing for Service Contract Products 

Use

You use pricing to have the system calculate the service price based on the reference product or object and on additional specific attributes and condition records.

Prerequisites

·         You have created the required condition types in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management → Basic Functions → Pricing → Define Settings for Pricing → Create Condition Types.

·         You have entered the specific condition types for full service leasing in the pricing procedure in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management → Basic Functions → Pricing → Define Settings for Pricing → Create Pricing Procedure.

·         You have stored condition records for condition types that use an access sequence in the master data on the SAP Easy Access screen, by choosing Master Data à Prices and Conditions à Maintain Conditions.

 

Features

You can configure the condition determination based on the reference product, object, and service contract product. As a result, you can have the system use the different attributes of a service contract product (for example, the Tire Storage attribute of the Tire Service service contract product) to calculate additional charges.

You can include attributes of the reference product in the price determination for the service contract product by transferring attribute-dependent conditions from the reference product item to the service contract items.

You can have the system use the condition values of the object item to calculate additional charges or discounts for the service contract item.

If the quantity of the object item is greater then one, the system calculates a cumulative net price that corresponds to this quantity.
