Product List Determination
The system uses product list determination to automatically determine job codes and spare parts for the product list in the service contract. You can use the condition technique to streamline this process, based on the service contract product, reference product, and attributes, for example.
You enter combinations of job codes and spare parts as a partner/product range (PPRs) in the master data. These are determined using product list determination. You can combine several PPRs in one product list.
· If you want to use your own attributes, you have to generate user-defined condition tables for PPR determination in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing Financial Services → Leasing → Settings for Service Processes → Determination of Product Lists → Create Condition Tables.
· You have entered PPRs as master data in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management, by choosing Financial Services → Leasing → Settings for Service Processes → Determination of Product Lists → Transaction: Edit Partner/Product Range.
· You have entered services and spare parts as products in the system.
· You have entered your conditions for determining the PPRs containing job codes in the condition tables of the maintenance group PRODUCTLST on the SAP Easy Access screen, by choosing Master Data → Prices and Conditions → Maintain Conditions.
Automatic
Product List Determination
You can use the condition technique to define job codes as default, mandatory,
or optional components of a product list in a service contract item. In the
condition tables, a PPR is assigned to a key (for example, combination of
attribute, service contract product, and reference object). Therefore, this
PPR of category 0030 (service product list) contains a combination of services
and/or spare parts that the system enters automatically in the product
list.
