Entering and Reviewing Employee Time
Data
The system can utilize punch data – times when employees clock in and out for work, a break or a meal – to determine how well employee’s work times meet the schedule generated by the system.
This process step is optional. When not used, the system does not track employees’ actual time against the generated schedule.
You have loaded the system on all devices on which employees would punch in and out.

The following process takes place in SAP CRM.
1. Employees punch in and out during scheduled work hours
2. Maintain punch overrides
The system performs a series of checks on every punch. Depending upon on restrictions, employees may even be prohibited from punching in without manager authorization.
3. Review and edit employee punch data
Managers review the punch data for correctness and make any necessary changes.
