Function documentationFinancing of One-Time Tax Payments Locate this document in the navigation structure

You can use this function to offer a lessee the possibility of financing one-time tax payments (OTAX) and paying these in individual installments over a specified period that is not dependent on the term of the lease. The number of installments and the periods do not have to be identical to the standard payment schedule.

Integration

Taxes are financed by a user-defined tax financing item. In the leasing document, you choose Edit Hierarchy to insert the tax financing product in the product hierarchy as a subitem of the financing item.

The tax financing item is always linked to a financing product, but not to an object.

Prerequisites

  • Only one-time tax payments (OTAX) can be financed.

  • You have defined at least one tax financing product in the product master.

  • Before you can finance one-time taxes, you have to make extensive settings in Customizing. SAP provides a sample configuration that you can use.

Features

  • The function copies the amount financed by the tax financing item from the tax amount calculated for the billing request item (BRI) for the one-time tax payment (OTAX) for the financing item. If the tax amount changes, the function automatically adjusts the amount financed to the tax financing item.

  • At the level of the financing item, the function sets the Tax Financing indicator in the One-Time Taxes and Fee Types assignment block.

  • At the level of the tax financing item, the system displays the individual installments for financing taxes in the Billing Request Items assignment block. The amount financed is displayed as a loan.
