Contracts (CRM-BTX-CTR)

The preparations for billing in usage-based service contract management, with the ultimate goal of determining the volume that is to be billed.

The volume is determined automatically by the system, which considers:

• Volume that was included in the basic price
• Credit amounts (such as test copies made by a service technician)

Example

At the beginning of each month, 100 EUR is charged for a rented copier. This price includes the copier rental and 1000 copies. However, during this month, 1500 copies were made, 100 of which were made by a service technician while making repairs. In usage-based billing, only 400 copies are billed for the month (1500-1000-100 = 400).
