Claims Management 
Claims management is an application that allows users to create and settle claims. Brand owners and consumer products companies can create and settle claims in the market development funds (MDF) and trade promotion management (TPM) business scenarios respectively. Channel partners can create claims to request reimbursement from brand owners in the MDF business scenario.

Claims in the MDF business scenario

Validation Sheet
The validation sheet helps you decide whether a customer's claim is valid.
Note
To use the validation sheet, you must make settings in Customizing for Customer Relationship Management (CRM), by choosing . In particular, you must specify a number range for external IDs (number range CLAVSEXTID) under Define Number Range and a number range for versions (number range CLAVSEIVER) by calling transaction CRMC_CLA_VSEIVER_NR and entering one interval with the following range: 00000000000000000001 - 99999999999999999999.
Claim settlements
