Division Settings for IPM 

Use

The Intellectual Property (04) product type does not have a division. Intellectual Property Management does not therefore use any sales areas. It uses distribution chains instead (these consist of a sales organization and distribution channel).

The header division must not be active. Define a replacement division. The system uses this to transfer contracts, billing documents and business partners to the SAP ERP Central Component System.

 

Choose the following path in the SAP Implementation Guide (IMG): Customer Relationship Management ® Master Data ® Organizational Management ® Division Settings ® Define Use of Division and Dummy Division.

 

Business Partner Replication Settings for Use of the Media SAP Business Partner

You must make the following entry using transaction CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU (Define Function Modules for BP Data Exchange), which controls implementation of the division, for business partner replication from the SAP ERP Central Component to System to the SAP CRM System:
