Purpose

This process allows you to use graphical tools to understand, manage, and forecast business data in mobile applications.

Example

Sales representatives use these tools to analyze the stages in the sales cycle in a graphical view.

Prerequisites

You have defined the reports and charts in Mobile System Maintenance (MSY) . The reports can either be Crystal reports, Microsoft Excel reports, or charts.

For more information, see Report Maintenance and Charts.

You have replicated the required data from CRM Enterprise to your mobile application.

Process Flow

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

       1.      Synchronize data

Using data synchronization, you download information from CRM Enterprise to the mobile client.

       2.      Analyze local data with Crystal Reports

You analyze your data with the Crystal Reports created. Predefined Crystal Reports are also available with a mobile application. For example, using the Mobile Sales application, you can analyze an opportunity by its various sales stages.

       3.      Analyze local data with Microsoft Excel

You analyze your data with the existing Microsoft Excel reports. Further, in a mobile application, you can export data to a Microsoft Excel file or to HTML format.

       4.      Analyze local data with SAP Graphics

You analyze your data with the charts created. Further, predefined charts are available in mobile applications. For example, in a sales cycle you can determine the net value of revenue generated for specific transaction types such as orders or quotations.
