Function documentationThird-Party Payments and Receivables in the Financing Contract Locate this document in the navigation structure

The payments and receivables from third-party business relationships are always to linked to financing contracts. This is because the lessor derives receipts or expenditures from the third-party business relationship only if a financing contract has been concluded. For this reason, you enter the details of third-party payments and receivables in the financing contract.

Integration

You make the settings for third-party business relationships in the financing item of the document.

Prerequisites

  • If you want to use the automatic determination of outline agreements in the financing document, you can enhance the determination delivered by SAP.

For more information, see Customizing for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) under   Financial Services   Leasing   Outline Agreement Determination  .

  • You have made the settings for the outline agreements in Customizing for CRM under   Financial Services   Leasing   Settings for Third-Party Business Relationships  :

    • Define Attributes for Residual Value Guarantees: You have created the residual value guarantees you want to use in third-party programs.

    • Define Attributes for Recourse: You have created the recourses you want to use in third-party programs.

    • Define Settings at Item Category: You have defined additional settings for third-party business relationships in the outline agreement and in the leasing document.

  • You have defined the financing views for the subsidies and participations in Customizing under   Financial Services   Leasing   Financial Mathematics Settings   Financing Views  .

Features

  • If you have created third-party programs and the corresponding determination criteria, the system proposes the corresponding outline agreements. When you choose a third-party program, the system transfers the data.

For more information, see Third-Party Program.

  • You can also enter third-party programs manually independent of outline agreements. You can enter several promotion types for each financing item.

  • To process accounts for payments and receivables from third-party business relationships, you assign these to business agreements.

For more information, see Business Agreement.

  • In the case of the promotion types Subsidy and Participation, the system calculates a separate payment schedule for third-party payments and receivables according to the financing views. You can display the payment schedules at item level under Payment Schedule.

    Note Note

When you enter data for subsidies and participations, the system automatically activates the related financing views. If you want to deactivate these financing views, you first have to delete the data for the subsidy or participation.

    End of the note.
