Termination with Return 

Use

You can use this function to initiate the return of the leased object by the lessee at the end of a lease.

If the lessee wants to end her lease on schedule and return the leased object, you create a quotation for termination in the system. This quotation is based on the existing lease. The quotation is used to create the termination contract. A fee is charged to the lessee.

The change process takes place at item level, which means the changes only apply to individual lease items in this case. The process can only be exercised for the full quantity of your leased objects. You can only execute this change process manually with the Actions function; execution as an option is not possible.

This change process is defined in Customizing under the technical name TERM.

Prerequisites

You have an active lease with status EOL Processing.

Example

The lessee no longer requires a machine and wants to return it at the end of the lease term.
