Monitoring Framework 
Use
The monitoring
framework in AS-Java allows different resources to register as providers of
monitoring data. The data collected from the resources is then processed by
the monitoring framework and visualized with one of the following tools: 
Visual
Administration, SAP NetWeaver
Administrator, or Computing Center
Management System (CCMS).
A resource that registers and provides monitoring data to the monitoring framework in J2EE Engine is either a J2EE application or a service.
