Procedure documentation Checking in the Activity Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In this step, you check the activity in to the Design Time Repository (DTR).

Prerequisites

You are working in the Development Configurations perspective.

Procedure

       1.      In the Open Activities view, open the node of the development configuration and of the workspace.

You see your open activities.

       2.      Select the activity New Java Component.

Note

You can add the Open Activities view to other perspectives in order to avoid switching the perspective.

       3.      Choose Checkin from the context menu.

A dialog box appears.

       4.      Enter a description of your changes if you like and choose OK.

       5.      If you want to activate the changes by building the development component in the CBS, in the Activation View, open the node of the development configuration and of the workspace.

       6.      Select the New Java Component activity.

       7.      From the context menu, choose Activate.

Result

You have checked the activity in to the CBS system. All changes are stored in the DTR server.
