Adding an External Library to a
Project 
To add an external library to a project, you copy the JAR file using drag and drop.
● You have created an external library development component (DC).
● You have selected to add the DC directly to the DTR.

1. To open the Resource Perspective, choose Window ® Open Perspective ® Other… and select from the list of perspectives the entry Resource Perspective.
You see your project in the workspace.
2. Open the folder that contains the jar file to be added as a library.
3. Copy the JAR file to the libraries folder of the project using drag and drop.
A dialog Add Files to DTR appears.
4. Select the files to add to the DTR and choose OK.
A dialog Select Activity appears.
5. Select the activity and choose OK.
You have added the JAR file to the libraries folder of your project.
