Working in the Application Layer 

Use

In this step, USER2 continues the development started by USER1. The received software is now in the APPL track, and USER2 synchronizes with this version in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio. Then USER2 creates a J2EE application based on the software delivered by the Technology layer. When everything is successfully built and tested, USER2 releases the whole application.

Procedure

These are the steps for working in the Application layer:

       1.      Import development configurations from the SLD.

       2.      Create a J2EE application.

       3.      Test, check in and activate the DC.

       4.      Release and transport the application.
