Syntax

transferbuildnumber <-b target build space> <-c URL of source CBS>  [-s <build space of source CBS>] [[-u <source CBS user>] [-p <password>]]

Arguments

-b <target build space>

The target build space concerned in CBS.

-c <URL of source CBS>

The URL of the CBS to connect to.

[-s <build space of source CBS>]

The source build space concerned in CBS.

-u <source CBS user>

The name of the user to connect to CBS.

-p <password>

The user password to connect to CBS.

Description

Transfers the build number. The build number of the build space on the source CBS is retrieved first. The retrieved build number is used to set the build number of the target build space. If the build number that is passed is lower than the current build number on the target CBS, then the current one will not be overwritten. If the user and password combination is the same on the source and target CBS, they can be omitted for the source CBS.

If the source build space has the same name as the target build space, it can be omitted.
