Background documentation General Functions in CMS Tables Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

In Change Management Service (CMS), in SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI), much of the information is displayed in tables. To make handling of the data easier, several standard functions are available in all CMS tables.

Filtering Table Columns

You can filter data records by setting filter values in table columns. To activate the filter, choose the filter icon in the table, or press return.

Note

You can also combine multiple filter values in various table columns.

Wildcard searches (using *) are not possible.

Sorting Table Columns

You can sort table columns in ascending or descending order. To do this, click the column header in the table.

Additional Table Rows

The CMS tables are displayed with a default row setting. You can increase or decrease the number of rows displayed by entering the required number in the Visible rows <XX> field and pressing return.

Exporting the Table Content to a Microsoft Excel File

You can use the Export to Excel… file to export the current content of a CMS table to an Excel file. The Excel table contains the column headers and current filter values of the CMS table, along with the table content displayed at the time of export.
