Use

By defining releasable products, you specify the products that a customer can release for each line item of a contract.

Note

You can create your own predefined product ranges for sales contracts in Master Data ® Partner/Product Ranges. For more information on PPRs, see Partner/product ranges.

At the item overview level, you can define either one releasable product, one product range or one product category for a contract item. You do this in the item overview on the General tab. At item detail level, you can define several products, choose more than one predefined product range or select many product categories, or any combination of the above.

 

Procedure

To define a releasable product in the item overview:

  1. Enter one of the following:
  1. Choose Enter.


To define further releasable products at item detail level:

  1. Doubleclick the item to display the item details. Select the Product Range tab.
  2. You can enter one, several or a combination of the following:
  1. Choose Enter.


Note

If you define more than one releasable product for a contract item at item level, the system only displays the first releasable product in the item overview. To see a complete list of all releasable products, you must view the products on the Product Range tab at item detail level.
