Procedure documentation Transfer Business Partner to Personal Contact Directory Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

This process explains the steps necessary to enable the transfer of business partner information from CRM to the personal contact directories of individual users in Groupware.

Note

The synchronization of business partners with the personal contact directory is unidirectional, that is, the data can only be replicated from SAP CRM to the personal contact directory of the groupware user, not vice versa.

Prerequisites

You need to have activated the Mobile Bridge.Check if the indicator Active is set for the relevant BDoc types in the SAP CRM Easy Access Menu under SAP Menu ® Architecture and Technology ® Middleware ® Development ® Message Flow ® Define Customer-Specific Flow (Transaction SMW3FDCUST).

You need to have carried out a download from the source site CRM to the target site CDB (consolidated database) for the object BUPA_REL (business partner relationship) as well as for the object BUPA_MAIN (business partner). To do so, choose SAP Menu ® Architecture and Technology ® Middleware ® Data Exchange ® Initial Load ® Start (Transaction R3AS).

For the synchronization of Groupware with the CRM server and vice versa, the Groupware user, who must also be a CRM business partner, must be created in the role Employee. In addition, a valid e-mail address must be entered in the group Communication (address-dependent communication) in the user management for this business partner.

Recommendation

Ensure that the employee was loaded in the SAP MapBox. If you have created the business partner in the role Employee and they are subscribed for the replication object EMPLOYEE_WRITE, the loading is carried out automatically.

Procedure

...

       1.      In the SAP CRM Easy Access Menu, choose SAP Menu ® Architecture and Technology ® Middleware ® Administration ®Administration Console (Transaction SMOEAC).

       2.      Create a site (for example Groupware Customizing) based on the Groupware Adapter 02 (sBDoc) site type.

       3.      Create subscriptions based on the following publications:

     E-mail Information for Groupware

This publication relates to the replication object EMP_SITE_WRITE.

     Employee

This publication relates to the replication object EMPLOYEE_WRITE.

       4.      Assign this subscription to the newly-created site.

       5.      Create a further site based on the Groupware Adapter 02 (sBDoc) site type for each employee who wants to exchange business partners with Groupware.

       6.      When editing the site, assign the employee to the site on the tab page Employee.

       7.      Assign other required subscriptions that you have created for the employee to the site. The subscriptions must be based on the replication objects, CAPGEN_OBJ_WRITE and CONGEN_OBJ_WRT.

Note

In addition, you can define filter conditions in the replication object by using criteria fields. For more information, see Filtering in Replication by Criteria Fields.

Caution

Create a site based on the Groupware Adapter 02 (sBDoc) site type for each employee who wants to exchange business partners with Groupware, that is, for every mailbox in Groupware.

To make sure that the business partners are transferred, you can create an extract. With this, a partial data set can be extracted for a site from the consolidated database(CDB). However, the following steps do not necessarily need to be carried out. Proceed as follows:

       8.      Create an extract for all relevant sites.

Note

You can create an extract only when the business partner data on the CDB (consolidated database) is available.

       9.      Choose the object type Site in the administration console.

   10.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Create Extract from the toolbar.

   11.      Using the pushbutton Insert Sites in the menu bar, insert all relevant sites, that is, all sites that were created for the employees who want to exchange business partners with Groupware.

   12.      Choose Execute to start the extract.
