Linking Criteria Fields 

Use

You can link criteria fields together. They are linked together using an AND link.

Prerequisites

You have called up the subscription generator wizard in the administration console and have selected an intelligent publication. You are in Defining criteria rules in the wizard.

You have defined a rule for at least one criteria field as to how the criteria values and employee keys are to be determined.

Procedure

Proceed as follows:

...

       1.      Select the potential criteria field that contains the values to be linked to another criteria field. Choose  (Link criteria fields).

       2.      Under Linked criteria field specify the field to which the potential criteria field is to be linked.

       3.      Specify the segment in which the field, to which the criteria field is to be linked, is located.

       4.      Under the tab page Value, specify the tables and field names that are to be linked.

If the criteria values are determined by a call function then these fields cannot be edited.

       5.      To submit the values, choose  (Copy).
