Procedure documentation Deactivating and Activating Sites Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can deactivate sites in the Administration Console. For deactivated sites no sBDoc Type messages are written in the outbound queues. However, the LookUp tables are still maintained by the realignment service. A site should be deactivated, if the data exchange between the site and the CRM server is not performed for a longer period of time.

As long as a site is deactivated the changes relevant for this site are collected per replication object. On reactivating the site an extract based on this extract list is performed. This ensures that only replication objects are extracted that have been changed during the deactivation period.

Using the site scheduling function you can deactivate sites for a certain period of time. See also: Creating Site Scheduling Jobs

If sites are transferred to the Administration Console using an ASCII file, an activation or deactivation process can be scheduled. See also: Loading User Data and Sites.
