Setting the Deletion Flag
Choose this function if you want to delete an installed base that is no longer required by the system, for example, service is no longer offered for it and it is no longer taken into account in evaluations or statistics.
Setting the deletion flag means that the installed base receives an additional system status and you can no longer maintain it.
Providing that archiving of the installed bases has not yet been started, the deletion flag can be removed at any time.
The installed base is transferred to an external archiving medium during the next archiving procedure and is subsequently deleted.
To set or undo the deletion flag, choose Installed Base ® Functions ® Deletion Flag ® Set (or Undo).
An elevator at the customer site is replaced with a more modern one. No services are offered for the old elevator. In addition, it is no longer required for reports or statistics.
