Use

As a customer superuser you can define catalog views in Collaborative Views and assign users to these views.

The B2B Web shop users only automatically see the catalog views that are assigned to them. The search function for the B2B Web shop user only accesses the views that are assigned to them.

Prerequisites

You have been defined as a customer superuser in the system, and can access Collaborative Views and the authorization for managing catalog views.

Procedure

...

       1.      Start your browser.

       2.      Start the Collaborative Views application with the URL http://<URL of your J2EE server>/cviews/views/init.do

       3.      Log on to the system via the logon page.

       4.      Enter the relevant data for defining views and assigning B2B Web shop users.

Caution

·         If you choose the radio button for automatically including new catalog items on the Manage View screen, all new catalog items of the master catalog are automatically transferred to the view.

·         If you do not choose the radio button for automatically including new catalog items, you must manually transfer new catalog items of the master catalog to the view.

·         You are not informed when new products are added to the master catalog.

·         Catalog items that are deleted from the master catalog, automatically do not appear in the view.

       5.      Save your entries.

For further information, see the context sensitive help.

Result

·        You have created a catalog view and assigned Web shop users to this view. You can create, manage or delete further views. You can also manage users, add them to views and delete them.

·        The main index and all additional indices are automatically included in the replication process.
