The Individual Parameters

Caution

The description of the individual parameters includes information on whether the parameter concerned should only be checked or whether it can also be changed. All other parameters not listed here should not be changed.

BWRFC is automatically created or deleted by the system when you use the Add BW or Remove BW pushbuttons respectively. You are not permitted to change this parameter value manually.

ALLUSERS: Specifies the value that the BWUSER field contains for queries for all users. You should also enter this value in the corresponding CRM Middleware subscriptions for the BW Query Requests (default setting: asterisk (*)). This value may only be changed if no BW systems are connected. It is usually not necessary to change this value. It should only be changed if there are important reasons why the default setting * should not be used.

MAX_AGE_REQLOG: Specifies the number of days that the log entries are to be kept before the system deletes them (default setting: 32).

MEMOTABS: Specifies the character (CHAR(1)) that is shown in the Display Report Data screen instead of a tabulator (default setting (*)). There are two special forms: <TAB> actually represents a tabulator feed with the increment 4, <TABxy> produces a tabular display with columns of the width xy. This display cuts off characters that exceed the length limit.

TREEEXPAND: Specifies the level down to which the tree structure with the BW requests is expanded when the transaction is called up (default setting: 2).

NEW_REQUESTS_AGE: Specifies the number of days up to which a BW requests is perceived as new. This setting has consequences for the function called up with the New Requests pushbutton (default setting: 1).

JOB_CHUNK_SIZE: Specifies into how many requests per unit of time the JOB_CHUNK_DELAY is sent concurrently to BW. (Default setting 0 (deactivated)).

JOB_CHUNK_DELAY: Specifies the period in seconds between the individual blocks of the size JOB_CHUNK_SIZE (default setting: 0 (deactivated)).

Note

When this function is used, the minimum runtime of the requests is calculated in seconds as follows: <Number of queries> / JOB_CHUNK_SIZE * JOB_CHUNK_DELAY.

WB_PROPERTIES: Specifies whether the workbook properties are transferred to the mobile client. Possible values:
