Sales Area Data 
When maintaining business partner master data, you can use and maintain data from valid sales areas in the following areas for the relevant transactions:
· Sales
· Shipping
· Billing
· Status:
¡ Blocking reasons for the transactions delivery and billing

· Organizational data
Sales
areas are defined in
Organizational
Management.

A sales area is a special combination of the sales organization and the attributes distribution channel and division, which can also be hidden.
For more information, see Customizing for Organizational Management.
To use your internal organizational units in business transactions, they must be available as business partners. You can make settings for the integration of organizational management with business partners in Customizing for Business Partners under Integration Business Partner - Organizational Management.
If you create a business partner in CRM Mobile Sales, a sales area is created at the same time.
· In the sales, shipping, billing and organizational data, you can set the following indicators if a sales area has been selected:
¡ Own data
Here you can create data or maintain existing data.
¡ Reference data
In master records for business partners with the BP role consumer, data from the reference business partner exists in the selected sales area. Choose Own data to maintain data that differs from this.
