The system maintains drivers just like normal customers. To distinguish drivers from normal customers, you maintain and use specific customizing settings. In this activity, you define specific number ranges for customer accounts (drivers).
You define the type of number assignment and the number range intervals for customer accounts that you will use for drivers.

1. In Customizing for Financial Accounting, choose Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ® Customer Accounts ® Master Data ® Preparation for Creating Customer Master Data ® Create Number Ranges for Customer Accounts.
2. Choose Intervals (with the Pencil).
3. Choose Interval+.
4. Maintain a number range interval by indicating the limits of the number range interval. The limits of the number range intervals are not allowed to overlap. Each number is allowed to exist just once.
