Procedure documentation Assigning Products from the Product Hierarchy to a Listing Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You follow this procedure to assign products to an inactive listing using the product hierarchy.

Prerequisites

You have created a listing header (see Creating a Listing Header).

Procedure

  1. In the navigation bar, choose Listings ® Search.
  2. On the Listing tile, select the listing to which you want to assign products.
  3. In the navigation bar, choose Listings ® Easy Maintenance.
  4. On the Product Hierarchy tile, select a product.

The selected product, and any items below it in the product hierarchy, appears on the Product List tile.

  1. On the Product List tile, select the products you want to add to the listing, and choose Select.

Alternatively, select the products you do not want to add to the listing, and choose Invert Select.

The products appear on the Listing Items Detail tile.

  1. On the Listing Items Detail tile, you can arrange the items in sequence, and make any other changes necessary, for example, to the quantity.
  2. Repeat steps 4 to 6 for each product or set of products you want to add to the listing.
  3. Save your entries.
  4. On the navigation bar, choose Listings ® Details.
  1. If you want to activate your listing now, on the Listing tile, select Activate Listing.

Note

Only active listings can be taken into account during prioritization, or be used to create sales documents.

Result

If you chose to activate the listing, the products in it are displayed as valid on the dates you have specified. You can no longer make any changes to the listing (see Splitting Listings).

If not, you can make changes to the listing at any time until you activate it.
