This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Example: ATP Check for 1:n - Confirm in Single Location Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

This example shows how all the components of a one-to-many (1:n) substitution item are confirmed in a single location.

...

       1.      You enter product A. Item category TAN is determined automatically.

       2.      The ATP check is carried out for product A in location 1000 (this location is determined automatically).

       3.      Product A is replaced by products B (ratio 1:1) and C (ratio 2:1). Everything can be confirmed in location 1000.

The results of the availability check are returned to the sales order as follows:

¡        10 pc of product B in location 1000

¡        20 pc of product C in location 1000

The 1:n substitution is exploded into subitems:

¡        The main item is now a text item (item category TAPA).

¡        The replaced products are represented as 1:n subitems (item category TAN) that are relevant for shipping and billing. The confirmed quantities and dates are in the confirmed quantities/date schedule lines for the subitems.

¡        The 1:n itself is also represented as a subitem (item category TEX1) as a placeholder for the components.
