Find in Repository 
You use this function to search for a development object that is in the baseline of a Mobile Application Repository (MAR).You can use the wildcard (*) character when you enter the search criteria.

You cannot search for an object that has been created in an unreleased change list, because the object does not exist in the baseline.
· You can search for an object using its type and name.

You cannot search for a string resource using its name. You must search for it using the lookup ID, the string ID, or the description.
· You can search for specific types of objects that are used in another object. For example, you can search for tiles that are used in a specific business component.
· You can search for objects that have used a specific type object. For example, you can search for tiles that have used a specific business object.

In addition, you can use this feature for BDoc and BDoc segments, even though these objects are not development objects. For example, you can search for business objects that have used a specific BDoc or a BDoc segment.
When the search is complete, this function opens the Find Results window and displays the search results in a grid.
You can initiate the modification of a development object from the Find Results window. This feature saves your time, as you need not use the Solution Explorer to find and modify the object.
· To search for an object from the Find in Repository window, choose Edit ® Find and Replace ® Find in Repository.
· To modify an object from the Find Results window, click object with the secondary mouse button and choose Open.
