Changing Lists of Catalog Characteristics 

Use

You can change lists of catalog characteristics by assigning existing attributes or attributes from product master set types to them.

Prerequisites

You have created lists of catalog characteristics.

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose Customer Relationship Management ® Master Data and Generic Services ® Product Catalog ® Maintain List of Characteristics.

       2.      In the user menu, select Find ® Display ® List of catalog characteristics.

       3.      Choose .

All existing lists of catalog characteristics are displayed.

       4.      Select (double-click) the list of catalog characteristics that you want to change. Alternatively, you can select it and choose .

       5.      Select Find ® Display ® Attributes or Product master set types.

       6.      Choose .

All existing Attributes or Product master set types are displayed.

       7.      Select the relevant Attribute or Product master set types.

       8.      Choose .

The attribute is added to the list of catalog characteristics.

       9.      Save your entries.

Result

You have modified a list of catalog characteristics by assigning an existing attribute to it.

After transfer to the list of catalog characteristics table:

·        Existing attributes become standard characteristics, that is, the values of these characteristics can be modified as required in product catalog maintenance.

·        Existing attributes of the product master set types become master characteristics, that is, its values are transferred, and cannot be modified.
