Replication of User Data
To enable Single Sign-On between SAP User Management Engine (UME) and SAP systems, users should ideally have the same user IDs both in the UME and in the SAP system. Replicating user accounts to the relevant SAP systems is one method of ensuring that user IDs are the same.
However, the current user interface for Identity Management does not support replication. There are better methods for ensuring that users have the same user Ids in both the UME and the SAP systems.
For more
information on the other options for handing your user data, see
Integration of User
Management in Your System Landscape.
In exceptional circumstances, where no other solution is possible, the user management administration console is still available, but may be removed from the system in a future release. For more information, see SAP Note 869852. For more information about how to maintain an installation with replication, refer to your legacy documentation.

If you use replication, all users must exist or be created in the UME central system. Having users on a target system that do not exist in the UME system is not supported. B before installing replication on existing systems, you must create or import all users to the UME.
