Activity Clipboard/Business Data
Display
This function is a list of the business objects involved in a current or past interaction.
This function is integrated with:
In the Interaction Center (IC) WebClient, the activity clipboard is one view of the business data context.
In the IC WinClient, you can select objects in the business data display (BDD) to use as input for actions initiated via the action box.
If more than one business partner is found in the BDD, and is required by the action, the business partner who is marked as Main in the business partner search area is automatically transferred. You can override this by manually choosing the business partner before selecting the action.
You have made the necessary settings in Customizing for the relevant client:
· IC WebClient
Your system administrator can either use the default activity clipboard profile, or define which objects are relevant for linking and should appear in the activity clipboard. To do so, in Customizing for SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) choose IC WebClient ® Define Activity Clipboard Profiles.
· IC WinClient
Your system administrator can either use the default context menu settings, or define specific context menus. The system administrator must add the BDD to your workspace and then add information to the data flow for the action box. To do so, in Customizing for SAP CRM, choose IC WinClient ® Component Configuration ®
¡ Visible Components ® Define Profile for Automatically Created Workspaces
¡ Visible Components ® Action Box Settings ® Define Configuration Profile for Action Box
¡ Hidden Components ® Define Context Menus
For more information about Customizing settings, see SAP Solution Manager.
Both the programming of the business object itself and your Customizing settings dictate whether or not an object is added to the activity clipboard or BDD. In addition, both must be in place for a business object to appear in the activity clipboard or BDD.

According to the programming for business partners, when a user confirms a business partner, the business partner can appear in the activity clipboard or BDD.
You have made settings in Customizing to define the display of the activity clipboard or BDD, so the business partner appears in the activity clipboard/BDD list.
If a business object is accessed repeatedly, it only appears once on the activity clipboard or BDD, in the order in which it was accessed first.

In the IC WebClient, this function is called the activity clipboard, and it is located in the Interaction Record.
· Display
Data appears in three columns. The first column contains the name of the object or activity. Your system administrator can define what information appears in the last two columns in Customizing for the Interaction Center WebClient in IMG activity Define Activity Clipboard Profiles.
· Navigation
You can use links to navigate to objects that appear in the activity clipboard.
· Sorting
The most recent business objects appear at the bottom of the list.

In the IC WinClient, this function is called the business data display (BDD), and it is located in the Navigation Area.
· Display
The object name and the contents of its default attribute appear in the BDD.
· Navigation
You can use the context menu to navigate to objects that appear in the BDD. To navigate to an item, right-click the item and select an action from the context menu. Double-clicking the item triggers the first action in the context menu. For more information, see Context Menus for Customer History and Business Data Display.
· Sorting
The most recent objects appear at the top of the list.
· You can navigate to objects on the activity clipboard/BDD.
· When you end the interaction, the system links the objects to the interaction record and clears the activity clipboard/BDD, in preparation for the next interaction.
· When you view past interactions, you can see the objects that were used, displayed, created, or changed during that interaction.
