Use

You use this procedure to provide rights to a role to access a tile and its corresponding business data in a mobile client application.

 

Prerequisites

The role must have access to the tile set that contains the tile.

 

Procedure

...

       1.      In the navigation bar, choose Role Maintenance ® Assign UI Rights.

The Role Hierarchy tile appears.

       2.         On the Role Hierarchy tile, expand the required role.

All the available mobile client applications are displayed.

       3.      Expand the mobile client application node.

All the corresponding business components are displayed.

       4.      Expand the business component node.

All the corresponding tile sets are displayed.

       5.      Choose the required tile set.

The Rights tile displays the corresponding tiles.

       6.      Perform the required sub-procedure based on your requirement.

To allow specific access rights to the tile

       1.      On the Rights tile, assign access rights by selecting the required checkboxes.

       2.      Choose Data ® Save.

The possible access rights that you can allow for a tile are Read, Create, Modify, and Delete.

To allow complete access to the tile

...

       1.      On the Rights tile, select the required tile.

       2.      Choose Give Full Rights.

       3.      Choose Data ® Save.

If required, you can revoke the rights given to the tile by choosing Revoke Full Rights.

To allow controlled access to the tile

...

       1.      On the Rights tile, assign access rights by selecting the required checkboxes.

       2.      If you provide the create and modify rights to the tile, you must also provide controlled access to the business data that is displayed in the tile. For more information, see Authorization at the Business Logic Level.
