Assigning Sales Teams to Business Partners Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Procedure

  1. Select the business partner to whom you want to assign a sales team, using Business Partners ® Search.
    1. On the Business Partner Search tile, enter the search criteria, and choose Search. The complete business partner record appears on the Business Partners tile.
    2. On the Business Partners tile, mark the desired business partner in the column at the far left.
  1. Access the Sales Team tile by choosing:

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The Employee Search dialog box appears.

  1. Enter the search criteria, and choose Search.
  1. On the Employee tile, mark the desired sales team member and choose Select.

The dialog box closes, and the sales team member appears on the Sales Team tile.

  1. To define a sales team member as the main person responsible for that business partner, select Main.

Note

You can only define one team member as Main.

  1. To choose a role for the sales team member, go to the Role column and make a selection from the dropdown list.
  1. Save the sales team.

Result

On the Sales Team tile, the sales team you have assigned to this business partner appears.
