Customers can modify the index definitions provided by SAP. Therefore, when SAP transports indexes to the customer system, there is a possibility that a customer version exists for an index provided by SAP. As a result, if both SAP and customer versions exist for an index definition, the state of the index definition changes to inconsistent. You use this procedure to resolve the inconsistency between the SAP and customer versions of an index definition.
You have created an index definition.

1. Log on to the CRM server and start the Mobile Client Index Manager by using the transaction (CMW_MIDX).
The Mobile Client Index Manager screen appears.
2. Enter the name of the table and choose Enter.
The name of the table appears in the tree.
· To view the list of tables, choose .
· In addition, to select a set of tables, you can use the wild card characters asterisk (*) and percentage (%). For example, to select table names that start with SMOG, enter smog* and choose Enter. All the tables that start with SMOG appear in the tree.
3. Expand the required table that appears as a node.
The Indices folder appears.
4. Expand the Indices folder.
All the index definitions for the table appear.
5. Double-click the inconsistent index definition.
The index details for both SAP and customer versions appear.
You can identify an inconsistent index definition with this icon.
6. To select the SAP version, choose Select SAP Version on the top left.
The inconsistency is resolved and SAP version index definition details appear.
7. To select the customer version, choose Select Customer Version on the top left.
The inconsistency is resolved and customer version index definition details appear.
