Procedure documentation Assigning Employees and Business Partners to a Territory

Procedure

  1. On the navigation bar, choose Territory Management à Territory Assignment.
  2. The Territory Management/Territory Assignment tile set is displayed.

  3. Search for a territory by entering the search criteria in the Territory Search tile.
  4. The list of territories is displayed in the Territory List tile.

  5. Choose a territory to which you want to assign employees and business partners.
  6. Activate the Assigned Employees tile, and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The Employee Search dialog box is displayed.

  1. Choose an employee from the Employee Search dialog box.

By default, the system enters the same validity dates as for the territory. The system saves your entries automatically.

Note

You can also select more than one employee at a time or select all the employees by choosing Select All from the context menu.

  1. Specify whether the employee should have subscription to the territory by choosing the Subscription checkbox.
  2. Note

    You can specify the Subscription for an employee only if the Subscription checkbox for the territory is selected.

  3. Activate the Assigned Business Partners tile, and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The Partner Search dialog box is displayed.

  1. Select a business partner from the Partner Search dialog box.

The dialog box closes, and the business partners appear on the Assigned Business Partners tile. By default, the system enters the same validity dates as for the territory. The system saves your entries automatically.

You can also select more than one business partner at a time or select all of them by choosing Select All from the context menu.

  1. To change the validity dates for employees and business partners choose the calendar icon, in the date fields.

Note

The Date From should be earlier than or equal to Date To

Result

You have assigned employees and business partners to the territory.
