Purpose

This process describes the steps required for installing mobile client components. The installation of these components follows the typical system landscape that is recommended. For more information about setting up the system landscape, see Structure linkSet Up of a System Landscape.

Prerequisites

You must install the CRM Server and the Communication Station, which is the process for following the System Landscape. For more information and instructions for installing these machines, see the Installation CRM Server - <specific operating system> and the Communication Station 4.0 in the SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/crm-inst.

The required software for each machine in the landscape can be selected by a single option in the installation routine.
