Calculating Formulas 

Use

You use this business process to further process saved profiles according to any mathematical context using the calculation workbench.

For example, you can calculate the total consumption of an industrial customer that is supplied via multiple connection points.

Process Flow

 

The following process runs in SAP R/3 (SAP Utilities):

...

       1.      Create formula profile header

       2.      Allocate input and output parameters

       3.      Calculate formula

Result

You can now make the calculated profiles available to other areas such as billing, settlement, or schedule creation.
