Use

You use this procedure to save your registry settings to a physical file. If at a later date your registry settings are corrupted, copy this file to your registry to restore your registry settings. This file can also be copied to the registry of another Mobile Sales Application user whose registry settings are corrupted.

If the registry settings of the other Mobile Sales Application user are not similar to the settings you exported, the other user‘s original registry settings are lost.

In addition, you can use this to identify the errors (if any) in your registry. To identify the errors (if any) in your registry, save your registry settings to a file and send this file to the technical support team.

Procedure

  1. On the Client Console screen, choose Tools ® Export MSA Registry.

The Select Registry File Name dialog box appears.
  1. Select the path where you want to save your registry file.
  1. Enter the name of the file.
  1. Choose Save.

Result

The registry settings are saved to a physical file. The Log window displays a message indicating that the registry was successfully exported.
