Data Synchronization 
This function ensures that data is synchronized between CRM Enterprise and the mobile client on which the Mobile Service application is installed. Data synchronization must be triggered, by the service representatives, on the mobile client.
The frequency at which data exchange must be triggered depends on how your organization handles its service calls. Usually, data exchange is triggered once or twice a day.
Data synchronization is used to update CRM Enterprise with the data you have created locally on your mobile client. Additionally it is used to update the data on your mobile client with the latest data available in CRM Enterprise.
· You can perform the data synchronization manually.
· You can also perform the data synchronization automatically (time triggered). You can set the synchronization process to start at the specified interval. For example, once every hour.
· Trigger synchronization manually
Start the ConnTrans application by running the ConnTrans.exe file. This file is located in the directory C:\Program Files\Sap\Mobile\bin.
In case of any conflicts, an error message appears indicating the reason for failure. In such a case, restart the ConnTrans application.

We recommend you to create a shortcut for the ConnTrans application on your desktop.
· Trigger automatic synchronization
In case of any conflicts, the ConnTrans error log is created in the Event Viewer. To view this log, on your desktop choose, Start ® Settings ® Control Panel ® Administrative Tools ® Event Viewer.
