Scheduling Background Jobs 

Use

Background jobs for

·        the subscription agent

·        the site scheduling

have to be scheduled after defining the site scheduling or subscription generators in the administration console.

Prerequisites

You have the user rights to create the objects of the subscription agent and the site scheduling.

Procedure

       1.      On the screen Administration Console Background Jobs choose the starting time for the background jobs.

Perform the background jobs preferably in the early morning. The subscription agent job has to be performed before the site scheduling job.

There should be at least one hour between both starting times.  Both starting times have to have the same date.

       2.      Choose Create Job.

The jobs are now scheduled. You can display the screen Administration Console Background Jobs choosing Extras ® Background Jobs.
