Processing Incorrect Readings 

Use

The error worklist makes it easy for you to correct erroneous readings. When you enter readings, the system checks the entered data and sets an error indicator for the reading if errors are detected.

The system lists all the flagged readings in the error worklist.

You can find details of the errors in the application log for the reading.

Prerequisites

·        You have configured Customizing for counters, readings, and usage recording in accordance with your requirements.

Activities

To correct faulty readings from the error worklist, choose Service ® Usage-Based Billing ® Readings ® Correct Readings from Error Worklist from the SAP Easy Access menu.

You can find information about the errors in the application log for the reading. To display the detailed data for a reading, choose Display History of Reading.

The system checks whether the reading is relevant for billing. If so, and if no other errors have occurred, the system assigns the correct reading to the volume overview.

You can also correct erroneous readings in the SAP Easy Access menu with Usage-Based Billing ® Readings ® Process Readings (see Processing Readings).
