Procedure

Using the Navigation Bar

...

       1.      You can navigate in the application by making selections within the navigation bar, located next to the view area. From the navigation bar, select the business component Business Partners.
When you select a business component, the navigation bar expands to display a list of available options for the business component. These options correspond to tile sets that appear in the view area when selected.

       2.      From the available options for the Business Partner component, select Search.
The Business Partner/Search tile set appears in the view area.

       3.      From the navigation bar, select Products.
The navigation bar expands to display the available options for Products.

       4.      Select Product Categories from the available options.
The Products/Product Categories tile set appears in the view area.

Using the Menu Bar

       5.      Another way you can navigate is by making a selection from the application menu bar, located at the top of the application window. From the menu bar, choose Tile Set  ® Contact Persons  ® Details.
The Contact Persons/Details tile set appears in the view area.

Note

From the application menu bar, you can also access the Navigate submenu, which gives you further options for navigating within the application. These options are also available on the application toolbar. For a complete description of the options available in the Navigate submenu, see Menu and Submenus.

Using the Toolbar and Application History

       6.      More options for navigating are available to you on the application toolbar. The Back and Forward arrows provide you with a way to navigate through the application history similar to the back and forward navigation arrows in your Internet browser. By using the Back arrow, navigate to the previous tile set.
