To launch a BSP or a BSP application in a portal, the SAP Enterprise Portal
provides templates for
iViews.
You can find SAP Enterprise Portal documentation on the Help portal at http://help.sap.com/ ® SAP NetWeaver ® mySAP Enterprise Portals ® SAP Enterprise Portal.
· You are familiar with the BSP Programming Model and with the SAP Enterprise Portal
· The SAP Web Application Server is configured to be integrated in the SAP Enterprise Portal; for example, the SAP Web Application Server should accept the SSO2 ticket from the portal server, so that SingleSignOn is possible.
There are two different types of BSP applications that should run in the Portal:
· Stateless Applications
There are no problems involved in integrating stateless BSP applications in the Portal. No additional actions are required.
· Stateful Applications
With stateful BSP applications you must make some session handling settings, especially when you use BSP extension HTMLB:
¡ Activating Portal Session Management
¡ Setting Session Handling without Cookies
